Each pot is shaped, left to dry to leather-hard, trimmed, and handles pulled and carefully attached as necessary. Once fully dry, each piece is bisque fired to over 1000°C and cooled for around 12 hours, then glazed (with up to 8 brushed-on coats of glaze to build those painterly effects). Finally, the piece undergoes a glaze firing to 1180°C, followed by another 12-hour cool-down.
