The pots are thrown by hand in small batches, dried to leather hard stage, trimmed to perfect the items form  and handles pulled and carefully attached. \u003cbr\u003eOnce the item is thoroughly dried, it is kiln fired to over 1000 degrees Celsius and are then left to cool, this process takes approximately 24hours.  The pots are then  glazed, mostly using brush on glazes, depending on the design this can involve up to 8 individual coats to create beautiful painterly effects. Finally, the ceramics go back in the kiln and are fired to 1180 degrees Celsius and gently cooled for 24 hours. Voila!    \u003cbr\u003eThis end-to-end process takes from 3 to 6 week depending on the time of year, the rain and cold extends drying time.      \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe unique quality of handcrafted ceramics:   \u003cbr\u003eEach one of my handmade ceramics are unique. Due to the handmade nature of the item, there may be slight variations in both the glaze colouration and size of each item, these differences should be appreciated as one of the joys of owning a one-off artisan made ceramic.          \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePackaging \u003cbr\u003eAll items are very carefully packaged so that your order reaches you in perfect condition.
